Hello friends! The following Bible Treasure deals with our free invitation To The King of King's Wedding; A Wedding more prestigious than any other wedding in history.

Will you come?

Matthew 22:1-14

22 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

BIBLE TREASURE

The Wedding Our Lord Jesus Christ is inviting us to Isn't an ordinary wedding. This Wedding Takes Place In The Kingdom Of God
Before we dig deeper into The Subject, let's break down the above Parable.

We know The King in The Parable is God The Father, and His Son Is Jesus Christ, The Prince of Peace.
The servants are the Apostles and Prophets and their mission is to bring people to The Wedding (God's Kingdom)

1 Thessalonians 2

2 For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:
2 But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
3 For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:
4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
5 For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:
6 Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.
7 But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:
8 So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.
9 For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.
10 Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:
11 As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
14 For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:
15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
16 Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.
17 But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face with great desire.
18 Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.
19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
20 For ye are our glory and joy.

But the guests (The ones who initially and exclusively were invited to God's Kingdom, the Jews) would not come to The Wedding, and so The King Sends other servants to tell the people that The Wedding Feast (God's Kingdom And All Its Delights) is ready for those who want to come.

But a mistake is made by the guests; they made light of The Wedding (God's Kingdom)
The guests failed to see the value of The Wedding (God's Kingdom) underestimating the immense Gift That Is being Given Freely to them

Instead of Accepting this Wonderful Free Godly Gift, one goes to his farm (A business, love of money, greed)

Another goes to his merchandise (Material possessions, materialism, greed)

*CAUTION*

Matthew 6:24

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Mammon definition: wealth regarded as an evil influence or false object of worship and devotion.

Matthew 6:19-21

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

The remaining guests took the servants (The Apostles and Prophets) treated them spitefully and murdered them. But when The King (God The Father) heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

This sentence deals with the fate of those who kill God's servants. Here is another Bible passage to consider:

1 Corinthians 3:17

17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Those who keep God's Commandments and Follow Jesus Christ receive God's Holy Spirit, thus making them The Holy Temple Of God in which The Holy Spirit Resides :D

Then The King Said to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy (They esteemed the things of the earth higher than God's Kingdom, and others filled with hatred murdered the servants of The King) Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage (This is Jesus Christ's Gospel spreading to the Gentiles, all over the world, so that everyone gets an invitation)

So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests (People from all over the world are invited to God's Kingdom)

And when The King came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment (This man represents those who will not partake in God's Kingdom When Jesus Christ Comes Back. This man was not worthy of God's Kingdom, for he was not obedient To The Lord)
And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless (There was nothing he could say as he did not Walk in The Ways Of The Lord)
Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
For many are called, but few are chosen.

We know that in order to partake Of This Wedding (God's Kingdom) we must believe In
Jesus Christ (The King's Son, The Groom) and be obedient To The King.

1 John 5:3

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

We must keep God's Commandments so that we are walking according to His Will, and His Commandments are not burdensome; they actually keep us free from sin's captivity.
God's Commandments are Love. To learn more about God's Commandments, i invite you to read, "Should Christians Keep God's Commandments?"

John 11:25-26

25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Matthew 19:17

17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

Matthew 5:17-19

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Now we understand this Parable our Lord Jesus Christ Gave us. Now let's look at The Place Where This Wedding Is Taking Place :D (God's Kingdom)
Please keep in mind that it is physically impossible to illustrate The Glory Of God and His Kingdom. These are things that no eye has seen, and no ear has heard. We could not illustrate that which surpasses our physical dimension.

1 Corinthians 2:9

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Trying to illustrate The Kingdom Of God and The Glory Of God would be like trying to explain the colors to someone who has been blind since birth; a physical impossibility. However, i will present some images hoping that you keep in mind that anything i show you will be extremely bland in comparison to The Real Kingdom Of God and His Glory.

Please ponder on these things in order to realize just how amazing God's Kingdom Is. Remember that the earth is God's Footstool and nothing on earth is superior to His Kingdom.

Isaiah 66:1

66 Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool

Think of the most amazing thing you've seen on earth, the brightest most vivid colors, the greatest and happiest moment you've had, the best physical sensation you've ever felt, the most delicious ice cream you've ever tasted, and then think of the fact that all of these things shy in comparison to what our Lord Jesus Christ is giving us Absolutely For Free
There will not be a single time in God's Kingdom where anyone will miss anything from earth, think about this :)

Revelation 21

21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

All of the precious stones mentioned above are what The Entrance Of God's Kingdom Is Made Of, just the entrance
If The Entrance alone is more beautiful and majestic than anything i've ever seen on earth, i really can't wait to see and experience Everything God Has Prepared for us!

We know without a shadow of a doubt that nobody's ever attended a wedding of this magnitude :)

I will now show you a few man made types of precious stones, and i want you to consider the fact that it is impossible for anyone residing in God's Kingdom to say, "Wow look at these stones, they're really beautiful and vibrant, but i remember those that were made in *Name of store here* that were better"

*Disclaimer*

I have only used the above example in order for you to grasp my point, i didn't feel right writing the above example as The subject of God's Kingdom is too Holy for me to make such an example, but i felt it necessary in order to convey my point, for you to really ponder :)

Here we are only considering that which we will be seeing in God's Kingdom, we're not looking into the things we'll be feeling, tasting, hearing, experiencing, etc; These will also far surpass anything we can physically experience on earth (God's Footstool)

Another thing i would like you to consider is the fact that our Lord Jesus Christ left Everything He Was Given By God The Father In His Kingdom, To Come to earth and Be Sacrificed for our sins, so that we may enjoy His Glory With Him.
Our Lord Jesus Christ Denied Himself (He Left Everything behind) He Took Up a cross, and He Died for us.
Please keep this in mind when reading the following passages

Matthew 16: 24-27

24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

The following passage says that we should not love family members more than we love God.
We are Commanded to Love God With all of our hearts, with all of our minds, with all of our souls and with all of our strength. (And we know He Loved Us First, in such a manner that far exceeds our own capacity to love)
This Commandment keeps us protected; we know that in the end of times and throughout our lives we will meet with opposition from people (Sometimes even family members) as we follow our Lord Jesus Christ, but if we Love Him with all of our hearts, then no one can separate us from Him
If we, however love our families more than we love The Lord, all it would take is for one of our family members to discourage us, or to incite us to break one of His Commandments for whatever reason, and we would fail, not being worthy of Him.

If our love for God is First and above all else, then we have built our house upon The Rock (Jesus Christ) and no storm can tear it down :)

Matthew 10: 37-39

37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Matthew 19: 26-29

26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
30 But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

We are all invited as Royal guests! An invitation given by The King Himself, our Good Lord Jesus Christ ^____^

How could anyone turn this Amazing Gift of Free Everlasting Life and Joy down?
Let's all follow our Good Lord Jesus Christ, Who Has Loved us more than anyone ever could, let's all go to His Wedding!

May The Lord Jesus Christ bless you :D
